Cookie Policy

This website does not currently use tracking or analytics cookies. Here's exactly what that means.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how and why cookies (and similar technologies) are — and, importantly, are not — used on this website, operated by UNI SECURITY GROUP LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data submitted through our enquiry forms.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website can place on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to give site owners information about how visitors use their site — for example remembering your preferences or tracking which pages you visit.

Do we use cookies?

No. This website does not currently set any cookies of any kind. That includes:

  • no essential or “strictly necessary” cookies;
  • no functional or preference cookies;
  • no analytics or performance cookies; and
  • no advertising or marketing/tracking cookies.

We also do not use browser local storage or session storage to store tracking information about you, and we have no analytics or tracking scripts installed — no Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or anything similar.

The only script that runs on this site is a small block of “structured data” that helps search engines like Google understand our business — for example our name and services. This is invisible metadata aimed at search engines. It does not read from or write anything to your device, and does not track you.

Separately, the cookie banner shown on this site remembers your choice using your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie, purely so we don’t show it to you again on the same device. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party as a result.

Why show a cookie banner if you don’t use cookies?

You may still see a cookie banner when you visit our site. We show this as a transparency and good-practice measure, and to future-proof the site in case we introduce cookies later — for example if we add website analytics to help us understand how the site is performing. We would rather ask upfront and be ready to be transparent about any change than add tracking silently in future.

Because the site currently sets no non-essential cookies, nothing about how the site works changes whether you accept or dismiss the banner.

What if this changes in future?

If we introduce cookies or similar technologies in future, we will:

  • update this Cookie Policy to explain what is used, by whom and why;
  • re-request your consent through the cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set; and
  • give you a way to change your mind and withdraw consent at any time.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Even though this site does not currently use cookies, most web browsers let you view, block or delete cookies for any website you visit through their settings. If we introduce cookies in future, you will always be able to manage them this way, in addition to the choices offered in our on-site banner.

The law

Cookies and similar technologies are regulated in the UK primarily by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), alongside the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 where cookies involve personal data. PECR generally requires websites to obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies. As we do not currently set any cookies, this requirement does not presently apply to us in practice — but we intend to comply with it fully if and when that changes.
